Great keeps getting better at TRIO, Vera Cucina Italiana, which translates to true Italian Cuisine. TRIO is located at 1938 Washington Valley Road in Martinsville . Owner Fred Minicucci is committed to continually raising the bar of excellence for the “Trio” of food, service and atmosphere. To accomplish this goal, TRIO proudly announces the addition of a wonderfully talented chef as well as expanding its hours of operation to include lunch. TRIO will also continue to provide its customers with an upscale, relaxing atmosphere, attentive service and very reasonably priced outstanding northern Italian cuisine.

The dining experience begins immediately as patrons ascend an awning protected stairway from the parking area towards the main entrance. The path is lined with heavenly scented herbs and greenery and one can only begin to imagine how these will enhance the myriad of dishes on the menu. Once inside this intimate venue the décor sets the mood. Deep violet walls accented with white trim complement rich Brazilian cherry wood floors. A beautiful granite topped cappuccino bar area is tastefully set apart from the main dining room. The dining area itself is classic chic; a showplace for contemporary art, antique mirrors; comfortably arranged tables, chairs and banquettes create the perfect backdrop for what’s yet to come.

From the delicious bread served with infused olive oil to the last delectable bite of dessert, the food at TRIO is fantastic. The restaurant is B.Y.O. allowing patrons to enjoy their favorite wines with a wonderful meal. The menu offers something for everyone and special requests are welcome so long as ingredients are available. Dishes like fritto misto di calamari and gamberti, tortelloni in brodo, rigatoni alla bolognese, zuppa di mare, salmon Trio, vitello Milanese and so many more are prepared in authentic northern Italian tradition utilizing only the best ingredients available in every season. *TRIO’s wonderful kitchen staff pays attention to every detail. Every dish is a masterpiece and each one’s presentation is flawless. TRIO is expanding its hours of operation to include lunch. Now clients who used to only be able to schedule a luncheon for a special function can treat themselves to a great meal at a reasonable price weekdays. Of course, TRIO is still available for banquets and catering, both on and off premises, and private parties can be arranged in advance. It’s easy to plan a special event at TRIO. There are catering and banquet packages suitable for any budget and the staff helps with each detail. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, office party, business luncheon, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or even a wedding every event at TRIO is one that will be remembered.
